KindlingSpark

A path from under-followed to institutionally owned.

Kindling Spark is where a small-cap public company finds out how it measures up against the criteria serious investors apply — and what it would take to measure up better. Companies that qualify are introduced to Kindling Fire, and to the investors who research and back companies like them.

No cost to apply. You will know where you stand before anything is asked of you.

How it works

01
Apply
Tell us who you are. We build an investability scorecard from your filings and market data — how you measure against the criteria institutional small-cap investors actually apply.
02
See where you stand
The scorecard is specific, not a grade out of ten. It names the gaps — disclosure, equity story, liquidity, coverage — and what closing each one takes.
03
Improve
Work the gaps with your own team, on your own timeline. Come back when you have moved, and we score you again.
04
Qualify
Clear the bar and you are onboarded to Kindling Fire, where qualified investors research, follow and engage with companies that made it through.

Qualified institutional investors

Kindling Fire is invitation-only on the investor side: dedicated small-cap, long-term, research-driven investors — the kind of holders an under-followed company actually needs. They see companies that cleared the bar, and they are expected to give structured feedback back to the company, whether or not they invest.

Built around the Russell 2000

The whole programme is designed around one destination: helping a company build the valuation, liquidity and institutional following that put Russell 2000 inclusion within reach. Index eligibility is determined by FTSE Russell against its own published rules, not by us — what we work on is the underlying position that makes a company a candidate.
